Sisley frames Isa around two qualities of a dream: its depth and its lightness. The composition sets bright citrus and warm spice against fresh jasmine and a bitter edge of green tea, deliberately mixing traits often coded as feminine and masculine.
Mandarin and grapefruit open with a juicy, peel-like brightness. Juniper berry adds a gin-like bitterness, and pink berries contribute a small prickle of spice.
At the heart, jasmine meets green tea, so the floral note reads tannic and restrained instead of heady. Patchouli and musk form the base, closing on a soft earthiness that stays close to the skin.
