This fragrance is Isabelle d'Ornano's tribute to her husband, Hubert d'Ornano, the founder of Sisley and a man who loved nature. It belongs to L'Eau Rêvée, a collection Sisley built around the idea of dreams.
The opening is herbal and cool: shiso leaf, mint, and an ingredient Sisley calls Green Vetrina. Shiso brings a sharp, faintly peppery green, while mint lays a clean chill over it.
Geranium and Virginia cedar form the heart, pairing a leafy freshness with dry wood. Patchouli and a moss accord settle underneath, leaving an earthy, shaded green rather than anything sweet.
