Hinoki Woodland
Mandarin and geranium illuminate clear hinoki and elemi, with sandalwood and patchouli adding warm, earthy depth.
Perfumer: Leonardo Lucheze
Hinoki Woodland interprets a misty forest and the remembered warmth of ancient ground through hinoki. Leonardo Lucheze created the eau de parfum for SABON’s 2026 collection, allowing citrus light into its woods, resins and earthy shades. The butterfly’s movement through the forest connects a lighter opening with a calmer woody body.
Mandarin and geranium provide soft citrus and a green floral impression. Hinoki and elemi combine clear wood with fresh resin at the heart. Sandalwood and patchouli add smoothness and earthy shadow, supporting a warmer, quieter finish.
Its selected 50mL flacon is milky white glass beneath a golden butterfly cap. Relaxed clothing and everyday moments that invite a restrained woody scent give the composition room to show its contrast between brighter citrus and the settled atmosphere of a forest.
