About SABON

SABON is a lifestyle brand that began in Israel in 1997. Through body care, home fragrance and scents worn on skin, it connects daily routines with sensory experience. The natural landscape surrounding the Dead Sea, and the idea of an oasis within a desert, provide an important setting for the brand’s world.

History

Its first store opened in 1997. International expansion brought SABON to New York in 2003, Rome in 2006 and Tokyo’s Omotesando district in 2008. It subsequently developed a presence in France, Spain and several Asian markets. In 2026, it introduced La Parfumerie, a collection of five eaux de parfum inspired by a butterfly’s transformation. The range extends its work with fragrance into distinct, evolving compositions for skin.

Philosophy and Signature Style

Fragrance offers a way to attend to nature and to personal feeling. The new perfumes interpret a desert at dawn, a secret garden, an open sea, a star-lit night and a misty forest, giving each perfumer a different atmosphere to explore. Their movement through top, heart and base notes is connected with the butterfly’s changing form and journey. White glass bottles and golden butterfly caps carry this theme into the objects themselves.

Iconic Fragrances

  • *Desert of Roses* — Lychee, rose and soft musk suggest flowers awakening in a dawn desert.
  • *Le Jardin Blanc* — Floral tea and white blossoms evoke a sheltered garden.
  • *Hinoki Woodland* — Hinoki, elemi and warm woods interpret the quiet air of an ancient forest.
