Desert of Roses
Juicy lychee and raspberry surround centifolia rose, with powdery musk and Ambrox providing a soft finish.
Perfumer: Élodie Bernard
Desert of Roses imagines a rose waking under dew in the quiet of a desert at dawn. Created by Élodie Bernard, it interprets that scene through flowers and juicy fruit. The eau de parfum joined SABON’s butterfly-inspired collection in October 2026, bringing a fresh floral presence to its theme of transformation.
Lychee, bergamot and raspberry give the opening a bright, fruity character. Centifolia rose meets magnolia and peony in a heart suggesting soft, spreading petals. Powdery musk and Ambrox, described as mineral amber, connect those flowers and fruits with a gentler finish on skin.
The selected 50mL flacon is milky white glass with a ceramic-like appearance, crowned by a golden butterfly cap. Its combination of freshness and soft floral sweetness fits a bright spring outfit or an outing when an approachable rose and fruit composition feels welcome.
