Oud Dukhan
A smoky, quietly intoxicating oud framed by cardamom, pepper and olibanum.
Perfumer: Dominique Ropion
Oud Dukhan is a Régime des Fleurs and Christopher Niquet collaboration composed by Dominique Ropion. It takes its cue from the image of oud burning on a slab of marble inside a North African riad.
Cardamom and black pepper open with a dry spiced edge. In the heart, oud and olibanum resin bring a deeper, smoky character. Ambergris and white musks form the base, softening the darker resinous notes with warmth close to the skin.
Founder Alia Raza describes her aim as a quieter kind of sensuality than the forceful oud fragrances she had encountered. It is a scent for enjoying the presence of spice and smoke alongside a more restrained musky finish.
