Carlisle
Green apple and spice meet tonka bean and flowers, with patchouli and opoponax adding warm depth.
Carlisle brings the freshness of green apple into contact with softer tonka bean, then moves towards the depth of patchouli. Introduced in 2015, it places warmer sweetness beneath a brighter fruit opening. Wood-like and resinous textures give that relationship a more grounded foundation.
Green apple, nutmeg and saffron lead into tonka bean, rose, osmanthus and davana at the heart. Vanilla, patchouli and opoponax form the base. Sweet-tart fruit and gentler flowers meet the warmth of spice and resin, while the earthier impression of patchouli adds depth beneath the rounded sweetness.
Consider it for cooler-day clothing when sweeter fruit and deeper resins suit the occasion. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 125mL Eau de Parfum has an opaque black bottle and silver-coloured cap, with raised horses, a shield marked 1743 and the fragrance name on the front.
