Oud de Médine
Rose and saffron meet oud, amber, vanilla and softer woods in an alcohol-free water-based perfume.
Oud de Médine imagines the caravanserais along the Silk Road, with desert breezes carrying spices, merchants in conversation and the rich colour of roses. These scenes surround the depth of oud, expressing the anticipation of a journey before departure. The fragrance was introduced in 2020.
Oud, rose and saffron combine deeper wood, fuller flowers and a drier spice character. Amber and vanilla add rounded warmth, while musk, patchouli and sandalwood provide a softer woody frame. The eight notes bring floral richness and drier spice together within a deeper woody frame, allowing the softer warmth to surround the central oud theme.
Consider it for quieter, considered clothing when oud should include flowers and spice. This is a suggestion from its inspiration and composition. The illustrated 75mL water-based perfume is alcohol-free; gently shake before use. Its white faceted body carries a gold spherical cap and a round decorative label.
