Kouzome grew from Miya Shinma’s meeting with Chinese writer Song Yuan. A poem written more than thirteen centuries ago inspired a wish for connection between people beneath the same wind and moon. Its name refers to the colour of the robe embroidered with that poem.
Rosewood and pink lotus form a quiet opening, followed by rose, jujube fruit, clove and deeper woods. Benzoin and vanilla bring rounded warmth beside sandalwood and white musk, joining flowers and spice in a peaceful composition.
