Man Private
Green artemisia and cypress lead into labdanum, Ambrox, and warm woods in Olivier Cresp’s tribute to the Middle East.

Man Private
Man Private is Olivier Cresp’s tribute to the delights of the Middle East. Released in 2018, the amber woody eau de parfum keeps the Man star while moving between cool herbs and warm, substantial woods.
Artemisia, cardamom, and cypress make a cool, green opening. Lavender meets labdanum resin and Ambrox in the heart, before patchouli, Cashmeran, and cedar take the composition towards a warmer woody texture. The interest lies in that shift from foliage to resin and wood.
The matte brown 100 mL bottle has an amber-coloured window and silver star. Quiet evenings and clothes with a warm, grounded character suit its spicy, resinous depth.
