Mono Cachemire

A musk-centered scent framed as a "second skin" of cashmere, with notes named after sound-processing terms.

The note list for this scent reads partly like a studio console: reverb iris, analogic aldehydes, jasmine delay, infrabass ambroxan. Even the materials are named as if they had been run through sound effects.

At the center is what the brand calls a veil of cashmere musk worn as a second skin. The main notes are musks, cashmere, iris, bergamot, aldehydes, ambrette, pear, jasmine, cedarwood and ambroxan. Enveloping musks and cashmere meet powdery iris and silky ambrette, creating a softness that echoes the second-skin idea.

Bergamot's brightness, translucent pear, the light sparkle of aldehydes and jasmine let small points of light into that softness, while calm cedarwood and ambroxan add depth like a low bass line.

The setting is Verona at 10:42 PM: walking through the lively city at night with a lo-fi beat in the headphones. Nathalie Feisthauer composed the fragrance, and Dutch lo-fi producer Eevee provided its musical interpretation, at a tempo of 78 BPM.
