Oud Rose

Dry saffron meets the fruity sweetness of davana and a thread of incense smoke. Centifolia rose then fills out the heart, with freesia bringing a brighter floral facet. Beneath the flowers, oud, black leather and patchouli introduce resinous wood, a tanned bitterness and an earthy depth. The richness of rose remains part of the composition as these darker textures develop around it. Inspired by a meeting between East and West, Oud Rose brings its floral and woody sides into a continuous, contrasting whole.
