Peonia

Peony, magnolia, rose geranium and jasmine form a fuller bouquet over patchouli and an amber accord.

ピオニア 100mL ボトル

Peonia approaches the peony through the idea of touch: a fragrance imagined as something like the caress of petals. Drawing on the flower’s associations with love and abundance, Jean-Claude Ellena sought a composition that engages the senses, particularly the sense of touch. The Signature parfum appeared in 2023, followed by its Japanese launch in 2024.

Peony and magnolia form a bouquet with Madagascan rose geranium and Indian jasmine absolute. A greener floral edge meets the richer substance of jasmine, while Indonesian patchouli and an amber accord add a deeper, warmer setting. The result places the softer impression of petals beside a more substantial base.

Try it when you want a floral fragrance with presence as well as softness, perhaps alongside silk or another fabric chosen for its feel. The 100mL presentation combines a black rectangular bottle and broad cap with a gold-coloured label bearing the Peonia name.
