Nubica

Patchouli meets the rounded warmth of tonka and vanilla, with a mandarin opening, in an amber woody portrait of a lioness at sunset.

ヌビカ 100mL ボトル

Nubica pictures a lioness crossing the savannah while the earth still holds the heat of the setting sun. Her suppleness and readiness to move become a relationship between patchouli and a softer, sweeter base. Corinne Cachen composed this eau de parfum for the Singulières collection in 2019, under the creative direction of Jean-Claude Ellena.

Mandarin supplies a brighter opening before patchouli brings its earthy, woody character. Tonka bean and vanilla round the base with a warmer sweetness. The house compares the tension of patchouli to a kind of vegetal leather: a description of its texture, rather than the announcement of an additional leather ingredient. The result places a firmer, drier presence beside a more enveloping one.

Consider it for an evening outing, or when you want sweetness set against wood and earth rather than fruit alone. The 100mL bottle has a thick, transparent rectangular body and a broad black cap. Pale liquid surrounds the framed botanical motif on the front, with Nubica clearly printed beneath it.
