filling station
Defined thyme and buchu meet flowers, tobacco, leather and oud.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Filling Station imagines a petrol station just visited by a luxury car. Kilesa uses red and white thyme to suggest the engine and fuel, while oud and amber portray the gloss of the bodywork. Sharper herbs are layered with flowers and darker wood and leather.
Lemon, red thyme, buchu leaf and white thyme open with bright citrus surrounded by pronounced herbal outlines. Lavender, jasmine, carnation and rose form the heart, adding fuller and spicier flowers. Tobacco, leather, oud, amber, vanilla and patchouli create the base. Sweet warmth supports the darker impressions of leaves, wood and leather.
It suits an evening when distinctive herbs and leather in a deeper composition feel appealing. The sharp opening contrasts with the sweeter foundation. The rounded 50 mL clear-glass bottle carries a copper-coloured cap and its name printed directly on the front.
