body modification
Sharp greenery and citrus lead through aldehydic flowers towards tobacco and frankincense.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Body Modification takes beauty and the sublime as its subject, imagining entry into an unfamiliar world of beauty. Kilesa sets delicate aldehydes behind rugged galbanum and fresh citrus. Fuller flowers then lead towards amber and woods, giving both sharpness and softness to the idea.
Lemon, bergamot and galbanum open with citrus peel and a pronounced green outline. Jasmine, aldehydes and freesia create the heart, combining white-floral fullness with a luminous impression. Tobacco, sandalwood, amber, patchouli and frankincense make up the base. Warmth develops alongside darker leafy, woody and resinous detail. The interest lies in the contrast between green tension and the softer floral and resinous aspects.
It fits an evening outfit when a more defined fragrance feels right. The rounded 50 mL clear-glass bottle carries a copper-coloured cap and its name printed directly on the front.
