FUGIT AMOR
Inspired by a Rodin masterpiece in marble: an icy spice opening gives way to the warmth of carnation, playing cold stone against living heat.
Perfumer: Stéphanie Bakouche
Fugit Amor draws on one of Auguste Rodin's masterpieces. The house focused on the double nature of marble: cold, rigid, thick and powerful as stone, yet revealing fragility, warmth and finesse under the artist's caress. Into that texture it folds emotions that feed the flame of a forbidden love.
Carnation is the central figure, approached through its spicy facets. Pink pepper, elemi, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon give the opening a crystalline, almost frozen chill, inspired by the transparency and finesse of marble. The floral heart then bursts with warmth, setting cold stone against heated emotion. In the base, green-woody tones of vetiver and cedarwood vibrate powerfully over a sensual bed of musk. Stéphanie Bakouche is the perfumer.
