Noir Patchouli is a woody chypre built around the deep, compelling scent of patchouli leaves. Cardamom and coriander sharpen the opening with a dry, spiced edge, and the wood settles against the skin from the first spray.

Patchouli stays at the center without turning away. Rose and berries move in beside it, lifting the dark leaf with a soft floral sweetness and a faint tartness. The flower and the fruit keep the earthiness from reading as flat.

In the base, leather, musk and vanilla build the floor. Leather brings a bitter grip, vanilla a rounded sweetness, and patchouli remains dry above them. Leaf, flower and leather give the composition the sense of mystery evoked by the house.

Wear it as the day cools and take time with the contrast between dry patchouli, leather and the softer fruit and flowers. The appeal lies in those different textures sharing the same dark woody setting.
