Fidji Eau de Toilette

Inspired by the islands of the Pacific, Fidji uses the image of a woman as an island. Josephine Catapano created this eau de toilette in 1966, bringing green definition, flowers, and a calmer woody depth into the same composition. The island setting is expressed through that floral landscape rather than a straightforward tropical-fruit effect.

Galbanum and iris introduce the outline of a bouquet in which ylang-ylang, jasmine, and roses unfold. A spicy shading adds contrast to the softer flowers. Amber warmth, sandalwood, musk, and patchouli then connect the floral character with a more settled finish. The fragrance draws its interest from the relationship between green freshness and the fuller floral centre.

The 100 mL bottle holds pale liquid in clear rectangular glass beneath a broad black cap. The script Fidji name and the branding near the base give definition to its simple form. It suits composed clothes and leisurely outings that leave room to enjoy a green, shaded floral bouquet.
