Rosa Incandescente
Sweeter Damask rose meets salt accord and mineral red seaweed, supported by geranium, oakmoss and Orcanox.
Perfumer: Ralf Schwieger, Cécile Matton
Rosa Incandescente brings the sweeter flower of Damask rose into a saltier marine setting. Created by Cécile Matton and Ralf Schwieger and introduced in 2025, the eau de parfum belongs to Gucci’s Alchemist’s Garden collection. Its inspiration is a hidden treasure found between shore and sea, connecting two contrasting impressions. Red seaweed is expressed through fluid extraction intended to preserve its marine character. A honeyed rose impression meets a salt-like, mineral outline, for someone who enjoys fuller flowers together with clearer coastal detail.
Salted crystals accord opens beside softer freesia and lighter pink pepper. Damask rose absolute broadens the flower in the heart, with greener Bourbon geranium and warmer ambergris accord adding outline and depth. Oakmoss contributes a quieter, damp green impression in the base. Red seaweed extract adds saltier mineral texture, supported by the ambery character of Orcanox. The structure connects a clearer opening with richer flowers, a marine impression and more grounded mossy depth beneath the rose.
Try it for a museum near the sea or a day spent on a breezier terrace. A white shirt with a deeper red accessory can meet its rose and marine theme. The selected 100mL bottle has rounded shoulders and red glass beneath a gold-toned stopper. A golden seahorse sits above the name, framed by fine leaves and a ribbon. The antique apothecary-inspired container joins a warmer red colour with a marine creature, giving the sweeter flower and salt-like outline a more visible contrast.
