Gorgeous Jasmine
Italian citrus and black pepper meet jasmine grandiflorum, jasmine sambac, magnolia and rose, with smoother sandalwood, benzoin and patchouli beneath.
Perfumer: Alberto Morillas
Gorgeous Jasmine places fuller white flowers within brighter citrus and softer woods. Created by Alberto Morillas and introduced in 2022, the eau de parfum explores a more radiant, tender jasmine character in Gucci’s Flora collection. Jasmine grandiflorum and jasmine sambac absolutes meet magnolia and rose, broadening the floral impression. Mandarin brings brightness, while sandalwood and benzoin surround the bouquet with gentler warmth. It suits someone who enjoys richer jasmine together with a clearer, fresher outline around the flowers.
Italian mandarin and bergamot essences open with brighter citrus, given a lightly spicy edge by black pepper. In the heart, the two jasmine absolutes meet a magnolia accord and Damask rose essence. The fuller white flowers gain a softer petal-like impression within that blend. Australian sandalwood brings smoother woody warmth into the base. Gentler benzoin sweetness and the quieter depth of Indonesian patchouli support the flowers, connecting fresher citrus, floral richness and a more rounded woody-resinous impression.
Try it for lunch with friends or a day when a neatly worn white shirt suits the mood. Its softer jasmine and brighter citrus can give a more relaxed warmth to a clearer outfit. The selected 100mL bottle is elongated, with a turquoise lacquered body and a shiny gold-toned cap. The central label carries colourful flowers and leaves, reinterpreting the Flora pattern designed by Vittorio Accornero in 1966. Its brighter blue-green colour and more abundant floral print give the radiant jasmine and fresher citrus character a visible counterpart.
