Cabochard Eau de Toilette reflects Madame Grès’s composed elegance through an image of freedom and boldness. The eau de toilette introduced in 2019 continues that distinctive character. Green plants, flowers and leather shape its chypre character.
Galbanum, aldehydes and sage provide a crisp green and aromatic opening. Jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang build a fuller floral heart. Patchouli, oakmoss, a leather accord and sandalwood extend the base towards drier moss, leather and wood.
It appeals to a clear outline of greenery and leather rather than sweet fruit. The clear 100 mL bottle pairs a cylindrical gold-coloured cap with a black ribbon. Rounded glass shoulders, a substantial base and black script complete its composed design.
