Silky Woods Elixir
An extrait inspired by the ancient Daintree Rainforest, setting Australian agarwood among fig, saffron, orris, caramel, guaiac wood and vanilla.
Perfumer: Olivier Cresp, Hamid Merati-Kashani
Silky Woods Elixir revisits the Australian agarwood first introduced in Silky Woods Eau de Parfum, taking it into a darker, deeper register. Inspired by the ancient Daintree Rainforest, it is an aromatic woody composition built to show the complexity of agarwood, a material prized in perfumery for centuries.
It opens with ripe fig and saffron: soft fruit sweetness against a bright, spiced edge. A heart of powdery orris, caramel and smoky guaiac wood follows, pulling the scent into darker tones.
In the base, vanilla and Oud Assafi merge with tropical Australian agarwood, binding sweetness, smoke and a resinous depth. The result leans gourmand while keeping wood at its core. It is an extrait de parfum with 25% essences and botanicals.
Olivier Cresp and Hamid Merati-Kashani composed it under creative director Dimitri Weber. The French glass bottle, lacquered in russet tones, pays tribute to the flora of Far North Queensland. Fig, caramel and vanilla meet two expressions of oud and the depth of smoky guaiac wood.
