Purple Mémoire
Lavender and coriander meet powderier violet and orris, with quieter sweetness from woods, tonka and cacao.
Perfumer: Nicola Pozzani, Penny Ellis
Purple Mémoire remembers summer at Ivy Lodge, an English family home in Floris history. Lavender moving through the gardens and coriander from the herb beds evoke the welcome awaiting someone approaching the house. Introduced in 2025, it was created by Penny Ellis and Nicola Pozzani.
Bergamot, lavender and coriander provide light and drier aromatic texture. Lavender continues through violet, orris and ylang ylang at the heart, gaining softer petals and a more powdery impression. Sandalwood, labdanum, tonka and cacao form the finish, connecting smoother wood with quieter sweetness.
Consider it for a pause within an ordinary day, when flowers and herbs should feel more composed together. The Japanese house suggests summer wear. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has clear rectangular glass, a gold cap, a grey-purple front label and a thick transparent base.
