Islay

Islay draws on the Scottish island’s plants and the complex character of its whisky. Developed in collaboration with Kilchoman, it evokes peatier land, sea air and the ritual of appreciating amber-coloured spirits. The illustrated presentation is the Eau de Parfum revived within the 2024 Ledger Series.

Green galbanum and brighter bergamot meet smoke. Patchouli, orris, amber and cedar occupy the heart, adding powderier softness and warmth to drier wood. Musk, sandalwood and vanilla support the finish, giving the smoky outline gentler woody and sweet texture.

Consider it for autumn or winter evenings when wood should gain both smoke and softness. The whisky connection describes its inspiration. The illustrated 100mL bottle has rectangular clear glass, a gold cap, a grey-brown label, pale yellow liquid and a thick transparent base.
