Chypress imagines understated elegance carrying an urban wardrobe from day into evening. Edward Bodenham and the perfumery team guided its creation, pairing the brightness of flowers and citrus with deeper patchouli and musk. This floral chypre was introduced as an Eau de Toilette in 2017.
Bergamot and lemon meet orange flower and neroli, adding brighter, softer floral character. Jasmine, rose, osmanthus and ylang ylang occupy the heart. Amber, vanilla, musk and patchouli form the finish, supporting sweeter flowers with warmth and a drier sense of depth.
Consider it when softer flowers should connect a daytime outing with an evening meal. Its warmer foundation gives those blooms a more grounded character. The illustrated 100mL bottle has rectangular clear glass, a gold cap, a red label with gold edging and crests, and a thick transparent base.
