Rosa Fiorita
Inspired by the tradition of a rose flowering in winter, two rose expressions and honey meet lily of the valley, iris and geranium.
Perfumer: Filippo Sorcinelli
Rosa Fiorita draws on the sacristy drawers of the Basilica of Santa Rita in Cascia. It connects rose and honey with the tradition of a rose flowering among winter snow for Saint Rita. The extrait de parfum carries this image of a flower opening in a cold season.
Damask rose absolute and honey form the subject; May rose, a lily-of-the-valley note and iris the counter-subject; geranium the tail. Honey adds sweeter fullness to richer rose textures. Brighter lily of the valley, powdery iris and geranium’s greener edge bring different floral expressions around them.
It suggests enjoying sweeter, fuller rose alongside brighter flowers and greenery. The cylindrical 100mL bottle has an ornate black-and-gold label beneath a gold-coloured hand cap facing palm-forward. Bent and extended fingers and a ring reveal the detail of the hand’s sculptural form.
