Peinture d’Homme
Caravaggio’s human figures and a silent gaze inspire ambrarome, moss and vanilla with incense and spice.
Perfumer: Filippo Sorcinelli
Peinture d’Homme takes the painted human figure as its subject within Unico Suono, inspired by Caravaggio’s Saint Matthew cycle. Humanity within a silent gaze and the less ordered texture of flesh become its artistic references. Resin, earthier wood and spice give those images a scented setting.
Ambrarome, oakmoss and vanilla form the subject; incense, cypriol and patchouli the counter-subject; carrot seed, cumin and cinnamon the tail. Drier seeds and spice sit beside warmer resin and sweetness, with moss and earthier wood introducing darker texture.
Consider it for vanilla sweetness beside the depth of resin, earth and spice. The clear rectangular 30mL bottle reveals pale yellow liquid. A gold-coloured cylindrical cap sits above a black-bordered label carrying the fragrance name.
