LAVS
Inspired by an atelier for sacred vestments, black pepper, cardamom and flowers meet sweeter resins, moss and wood.
LAVS is the first work in the UNUM collection, created to describe the atmosphere of Filippo Sorcinelli’s atelier for sacred vestments. The smells surrounding the making of these garments meet spices, resins and wood in the extrait de parfum. An incense-like depth carries softer flowers and sweeter balsamic textures.
Black pepper, cardamom and jasmine meet elemi, labdanum, cloves, coriander, opoponax, oakmoss, rosewood, amber and tonka bean. Sharper spice and floral brightness are surrounded by the warmer sweetness of resin and wood, with moss bringing a drier texture into the composition.
Consider it for quieter wood and resin with a defined spicy outline. The black rectangular 100mL bottle has a large square black cap. Faint UNUM and LAVS lettering at the lower right of the front, together with a subtle shoulder line, gives the dark object its restrained appearance.
