Cuir Celeste
Violet leaves and galbanum meet osmanthus, then deeper leather, wood and musk.
Perfumer: Quentin Bisch
Cuir Celeste was created by Quentin Bisch and introduced in 2018. The vintage B3 bomber jacket worn daily by photographer Mathieu César, reworked for him by a Parisian craftsman, shapes its setting. Greener leaves, flowers and wood connect different textures around that more individual leather character.
Violet leaves, black pepper and galbanum lead into osmanthus and ambrette. Leather notes, patchouli, cypriol, Akigalawood and musk form the base. Greener foliage and softer flowers meet the depth of leather and drier wood, supported by a smoother musky foundation.
Consider it with calmer clothing when individual leather suits leaves and gentler flowers. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has clear rectangular glass, a patterned silver-coloured cap and a white front label naming the fragrance and photographer.
