Pepe
A Mediterranean scene in spices, with peppers and herbs leading to incense, woods and warm amber.
Pepe draws a Mediterranean scene through layers of spice. Bergamot and elemi meet nutmeg, coriander, clary sage, pimento and red pepper in the opening. The dry character of the spices is accompanied by the brighter aspects of herbs and resin. Incense, black pepper, cumin and thyme follow, supported by patchouli and Virginia cedar, adding a depth that suggests wood and smoke. Cashmeran, amber and musk give the finish a softer warmth. The composition moves from its aromatic, spicy opening towards a fuller woody character. This eau de parfum is presented as a 50 mL spray in a glass bottle with a silver-coloured cap and white label.
