Le Parfum
Orange blossom and jasmine meet a honeyed rose trail, translating the impression of luminous couture into fragrance.
Perfumer: Francis Kurkdjian
Le Parfum translates the impression of a dress catching the light into a fragrance worn on the skin. Launched in 2011 as the first ELIE SAAB perfume, Francis Kurkdjian’s composition joins luminous white flowers with a more settled chypre character. Its bright floral opening and grounded finish establish a starting point for the house’s fragrance collection.
Orange blossom opens into richer jasmine and the firmer outline of patchouli. Cedar gives the finish a drier woody shape, while the honey-rose accord adds a softer floral sweetness. These contrasting textures support the brightness of the flowers and give the composition a rounded, more grounded trail.
The selected 90mL faceted glass bottle has a clear cap and a front label. Its bright flowers and calmer woody finish suit occasions when a more present floral character complements carefully chosen clothing.
