twoWa
Clear herbs and citrus give way to supple flowers and resinous woods, echoing the meeting of light and darkness at twilight.
Perfumer: Dawn Spencer Hurwitz
Following ame and its daylight theme, twoWa explores the harmony of light and darkness at twilight. Red mandarin and bergamot meet a loquat leaf accord, mugwort, melissa and rhubarb in a clear opening. Osmanthus, neroli, rose, jasmine, ylang ylang and waterlily then form a softer floral layer. Frankincense and sandalwood leave a quiet, deeper impression in the base. The movement from bright citrus and herbs towards flowers, resin and wood offers a way to picture the hour when day meets night, alongside the brand’s description of the fragrance’s developing character.
