803 Givre Patchouli
A Brittany walk becomes a frozen patchouli leaf: cool sea air and spices beside darker earth and wood.
Perfumer: Paul Guerlain
803 Givre Patchouli grew from memories of walking in Brittany, shared by Ludovic Bonneton and Paul Guerlain. The idea of a frozen patchouli leaf joins its darker earthy, woody facets with a clearer, colder impression.
Pink pepper, juniper berries and ginger give the opening cool spice and a citrus-like edge. Anise, ylang-ylang and a sea-spray accord bring sweeter spice and white flowers into coastal air. Patchouli, algae and ambergris combine deeper earth and wood with salty, mineral-like textures.
The eau de parfum is shown in a square 100mL bottle with a black cap. It suits a day when seaside freshness feels more interesting beside damp earth and calmer woods.
