005 Riviera Absolue
An Amalfi-coast cocktail becomes bright finger lime, ginger and green tomato leaf, recalling a breeze over sun-warmed skin.
Perfumer: Paul Guerlain
005 Riviera Absolue began with a finger-lime cocktail Ludovic Bonneton tasted on the Amalfi coast. Paul Guerlain translated the feeling of a breeze over summer-warmed skin into vivid citrus and green leaves for this 2026 extrait de parfum.
Tomato leaf, a finger-lime accord and Italian bergamot introduce tart brightness and greenery. Moroccan neroli meets ginger from Madagascar and Côte d’Ivoire and Guatemalan cardamom. Black tea, Indian cypriol, East African olibanum and ambroxan give the finish quieter tea, wood and resin facets.
The fragrance is shown in square 100mL glass. It suits sunlit days when citrus freshness feels most appealing with sharper leaves and cooler spice.
