Rose
Damask rose suggests petals in morning dew, framed by lemon, mandarin and a quieter woody musk finish.
Perfumer: Alain Verjus
Rose evokes a rose garden in the early morning, when dew rests on opening petals. Created by Alain Verjus, it belongs to the four fragrances with which AUX PARADIS began in 2008. The composition places softer damask rose beside brighter fruit and a calmer finish, suggesting the air around a flower rather than only a dense bouquet.
Lemon and yellow mandarin brighten the opening around the rose. Damask rose brings a softer petal sweetness at the centre. Patchouli, amber and musk add a more settled background, connecting the fresher fruit and rounded flower to a quieter finish with woody and skin-like associations.
The selected 30mL amber glass bottle has a rectangular shape, a silver cylindrical cap and a label on its front. Its balance of rose softness and fresher citrus suits daytime clothing or a quieter outing that welcomes a gentle floral impression.
