About AUX PARADIS
AUX PARADIS is a Japanese fragrance and cosmetics brand attentive to the country’s atmosphere, skin and preference for delicate scent. Traceable natural fragrance materials and fermented alcohol made principally from sugarcane support its approach to everyday perfumes. The range places approachable fragrance beside products made with materials from different parts of the world.
History
The brand began in May 2008 with four fragrances. These established its idea of a basic fragrance wardrobe, subsequently joined by fruity, woody and seasonal interpretations. In February 2021, selected directly operated shops introduced a service that refills customers’ used perfume bottles by measured quantity. Reusing the original container had been an ambition since the brand’s beginnings.
Philosophy
Its stated approach combines as many natural materials as practicable with a measured contribution from science. Attention to origin extends beyond perfumery, including Moroccan argan oil and donkey milk from the French Alps in other products. Rather than treating fragrance as an isolated accessory, AUX PARADIS connects it with the quality and background of its materials and their place in daily life.
Highlights
Fleur presents a gentle floral character, Citron emphasizes citrus, and Savon uses lavender materials for a soap-like impression. Seasonal releases include the osmanthus-inspired autumn fragrance and Winter Berry. The amber glass containers are designed for reuse, with 15mL and 30mL spray bottles and a 60mL refill format. These are different capacities of the same perfumes, rather than separate fragrance identities.
