Villa Primerose
Centifolia rose and leather meet in a tribute to a historic villa in Grasse.
Perfumer: Marie Salamagne
Villa Primerose pays tribute to the Grasse house of the same name, a witness to the region’s perfume history since 1886. Perfumer Marie Salamagne brought together rose and leather, two materials associated with that heritage, to explore a contrast between delicacy and strength.
Cardamom, pear and pink pepper open the scent, followed by Centifolia rose, ambrette and iris. Leather, amber woods and musk shape the base. The rose is designed to reveal the leather’s character rather than conceal it.
