OSMO
An extract built around a custom marine note. It moves from bright orange and pink pepper through jasmine and orris to cedarwood and oak moss.
Perfumer: Dominique Ropion
Osmo evokes Iceland’s Reynisfjara black beach, where cold sea mist meets waves breaking against basalt columns.
At the centre of OSMO is a custom marine note made for this fragrance. The brand names it as the central raw material, so the sea-like element is not a passing accent but the core of the composition.
In the top, the marine note meets orange and pink pepper. Juicy citrus and a dry, peppery prickle give shape to its sea-like transparency. The heart holds jasmine and orris: soft floral texture, joined by the cool, powdery quality of orris. The base brings together cedarwood, oak moss and musk. The musk smooths over dry wood and the damp shade of moss.
The fragrance was composed by Dominique Ropion. Because sweetness is not pushed to the front, it suits clean, pared-back outfits, or quieter days when you want to wear something that calls coastal air to mind.
