Coven imagines a secret woodland at dawn after rain. Andrea Maack sets sharp, bitter-green galbanum against the roundness of vanilla, with labdanum, whiskey, cedarwood, oakmoss and clove adding contrasting textures. Dry wood, shaded moss and the warmth of resin and spice give the composition different kinds of depth. The fragrance is composed by Céline Ripert. Its atmospheric setting places the emphasis on forest air and damp earth rather than a conventional floral bouquet.
