SOLÆR
A floral amber centred on methyl laitone's coconut softness, with white flowers, peach and hazelnut, inspired by the smell of sunscreen.
Perfumer: Julien Rasquinet
SOLÆR takes its cue from the smell of sunscreen warmed on the skin in summer.
At its centre is methyl laitone, a lactone that the brand says brings notes of fig and coconut. Jasmine and tuberose add a dense white-floral body, while peach and bitter orange keep the opening juicy and a little sharp.
Sandalwood and a nutty hazelnut tone give the creamy sweetness something drier to rest on. Julien Rasquinet is the perfumer.
