Pause
Mimosa imagined in high-winter bloom, grounded by violet leaf, hay absolute and cedarwood.
Perfumer: Fanny Grau
Pause imagines mimosa blooming in high winter. Its flowers have a textured, earthy setting: damp green leaves and the warmth of hay surround their softness. Abel places the fragrance around the idea of stopping for a moment.
Violet leaf and grapefruit introduce a green bitterness before mimosa and narcissus unfold. Mimosa's soft powderiness meets the deeper character of narcissus, with copaiba balsam adding woody warmth.
Hay absolute and cedarwood support a dry sweetness in the base. Composed by Fanny Grau, the fragrance keeps its flowers connected to the impression of leaves, wood and earth. That relationship gives the floral softness a quieter, more grounded shade.
