Orris & Silk

Orris & Silk is the Velvet Edition marking Acqua Colonia’s fifteenth anniversary. This eau de toilette combines the fuller powdery character of orris with a lighter texture suggesting silk. The idea extends to the presentation as well as the fragrance, with a velvet-like finish on the box adding another expression of softness to the anniversary creation.

Orris gives a powdery impression associated with iris root, together with gentler floral nuances. Silk is a note describing a smooth, light fabric-like sensation, bringing a softer flowing texture alongside that powdery fullness. The composition explores warmth and florality with both substance and lightness, using the contrast between root-like powder and the more airy textile impression.

Wear it when you want the feel of soft flowers and powder in place of brighter citrus. The transparent 50mL bottle has a detailed relief pattern and a burgundy front label marked with gold-coloured Velvet Edition lettering. A slender gold-coloured cap and thick glass base finish the presentation, giving the deeper label colour a clear, defined setting.
