Jean-Claude and Céline Ellena take on amber, an accord first imagined more than a century ago and regarded as an archetype of French perfumery. They describe it as mysterious yet tender, sophisticated and steady, revealing itself on the skin while leaving an enchanting trail.
For this Season 1 version they began seriously, bringing the classic ingredients to a point of balance, then shifted little by little toward childhood and the small sin of being carefree.
Mandarin opens it. In the heart, cistus labdanum brings resinous depth, cut with the green crispness of geranium leaves. Tonka bean and vanilla carry it into the gourmand family where the brand places it.
