Encouragement from established perfumers, including Françoise Caron, helped turn that early fascination into a disciplined career. Her creative personality is sparkling and spontaneous, yet her formulas are recognised for balance, organisation, and a clear structural idea.

Career

After specialised training, Monet chose to begin her professional life in Munich, where she lived for six years. The city's calm rhythm and the German reputation for order resonated with her own temperament; compositions from that period reflected a strong concern for proportion and stability. She later returned to Paris and developed an international portfolio across fine fragrance, working for fashion, beauty, and independent houses. Cities, travel, and encounters with unfamiliar materials continue to broaden her creative vocabulary.

Creative Style & Philosophy

Monet summarises her process as innovation through interesting combinations followed by the addition of structure. An intuitive pairing may open the idea, but balance and technical control determine whether it becomes a complete perfume. She is comfortable with gourmand effects, patchouli, woods, florals, and sensual textures, often building contrast without allowing the formula to lose focus. For her, innovation is not novelty for its own sake. A fragrance should come alive on skin, carry emotion and memory, and remain legible as an olfactory story over time.
