Corn Star takes its cue from a travelling funfair: popcorn drifting from a stall, lights blinking along the rides, and the jolt of nerves just before you climb aboard. Its sweetness comes with the smell of freshly toasted snacks.
The fruit comes from a candied pear accord, the French poire d'amour, kept bright by coconut water and the green bitterness of angelica extract. Popcorn and sesame add a toasted, nutty warmth, and a musky marshmallow turns it soft and pillowy.
Smooth tonka bean and dry, earthy cypriol oil add depth to the confection. The toasted sweetness is lightened by the green, watery notes.
