Laguna Verde I
Inspired by the Grand Canal in Venice: crisp violet leaf gives way to powdery iris, then settles into papyrus with a faint edge of leather.
Perfumer: Vincent Ricord
Laguna Verde I takes its cue from the Grand Canal in Venice, and in particular from the celadon green of its water. The canal is read in two ways at once: a cut running through the city, and a link that joins one district to the next.
Violet leaf comes first, sharp and green, with the snap of a freshly broken stem. The iris arrives soon after, adding a dry, powdery floral layer that softens those green edges without hiding them.
Papyrus forms the base. Its woody texture carries a faint suggestion of leather, and the three notes hold together as a single line that lingers with real presence.
