Japanese Night begins with the view from a car after arriving home from a trip abroad: Tokyo passing the window, the journey ending, and night-time memories stirred by music and film. Cool eucalyptus meets clove's spicy edge before frankincense adds resinous weight. Cedar and patchouli support the sweet, smoky character that evokes whisky and smoke in a cinematic night scene. Originally composed by Gilles Berthoumieux in 2022, the fragrance returned in Petiume packaging in 2026. The current 15 mL spray has a stated fragrance concentration of 15%, carrying that brief transition from travel's excitement back to everyday life.
