Chocolat épice au poivre noir
Madagascan black pepper meets dark chocolate, supported by hinoki, leather and oud.
Chocolat épicé au poivre noir sets the heat of a single black peppercorn beside the faint sweetness of cacao glowing in the dark. Pepper's vivid edge meets the bitterness of chocolate, making spice and cacao equally important to the character. The sweetness has a darker, woody setting around it.
Black pepper and rose form the opening. Pepper from Madagascar brings a bright, tingling character alongside the flower. Hinoki and cardamom follow in the heart, connecting dry wood with the fresh side of spice. They carry the lively opening toward the deeper materials in the base without losing its clear spicy outline.
Tobacco, leather, oud and black chocolate make up the base. Dark woods and leather join the slightly bitter character of cacao and a trace of sweetness. A sense of spice remains as the composition settles into warmth, giving both pepper and chocolate depth within the woody, leathery finish.
