Shadid

A desert drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, with wide skies and warm, quiet air, inspired Shadid. Its name means intense and strong in Arabic. Smoky, almost resinous nagarmotha oil sits at the centre. Coriander and a castoreum accord lead to palisander and animalic musks, while sandalwood and vanilla bring softness and light to the darkness. Without oudh, Andy Tauer’s extrait creates woody, leathery depth with low-to-medium sweetness. The faceted blue 50 mL bottle carries a patterned red label and a dark cap.
